Cheek enhancement consists of filler being placed directly onto the zygomatic arch, more commonly known as the cheek bone. As we age, we begin to lose volume in our mid face and cheek region. One of the initial signs is the splitting of the malar fat pad in our cheeks, an area responsible for providing essential volume to the cheek area. Dermal filler can be placed on and around the zygomatic region to restore lost volume and rebuild lost structure to the face. Thus doing so, cheek filler can aid in creating a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance. When paired with other treatments, such as the chin, cheek filler can also help create a slimmer appearance to the face.
